23/08/2007CUE: Security men were called to Wrighton Council's planning committee last night when a group of residents brought the meeting to a standstill. It's claimed they shouted abuse and threatened committee members following the approval of a new home for disturbed children. Residents are objecting to a plan to convert a private house into a home for the six children despite 74 letters of objection. They claim that the decision will result in more noise, nuisance, vandalism and anti-social behaviour in a residential area. With me is Cheryl Blears from the Children & Young People Services of Wrighton Council.......
