Forum to probe traffic problems

AWARD winning broadcaster Alistair Macdonald is joining Ashbourne's fight against traffic problems by heading up a public meeting next month.

The journalist, who has worked with the BBC, ITV and Channel Four, has agreed to help Ashbourne's 50+ Forum with its next bout of discussions over the problems caused by increased congestion.

Mr Macdonald, a noted public speaker, will help the Forum's chairman, Peter Cook, direct questions from the audience and introduce three other hand-picked speakers due to turn up to the event
