Ann's firm shows how its done
04/12/2007HIGH-flying legal eagle Ann Alexander is hoping for soaraway success with a new media training business.
The headline-grabbing solicitor has joined forces with former TV newsman Alistair Macdonald to launch a company aimed at helping blue-chip clients follow her lead and maximise opportunities for exposure through the media.
The launch of Alexander Macdonald follows the sale of the Alexander Harris law firm, in which Miss Alexander was senior partner, to lawyers Irwin Mitchell in May, 2006.
Miss Alexander, who still serves as a consultant to Irwin Mitchell, built one of the country's best known clinical negligence firms by sharing her views with journalists, regularly earning exposure on BBC Radio 4's Today programme, You And Yours, PM, The World At One, Law In Action, Woman's Hour, Newsnight and others.
