The lads down at the Slug and Banker were just wondering if we could borrow your Chinook for a few hours. You see, we've got this stag night coming up for 'Hissing' Sid Royle. Great lad!
We were going to get a charabanc but you've given us an idea. It's a win-win situation. We can broaden our horizons a little further than Oldham and you get 'a further insight into the many roles of the Royal Air Force', as the MoD so aptly put it. So could you fly us to Bazra for the evening?
We feel sure the MoD will give it the thumbs up and you'll be able to look your brother Harry in the eye again. But we'd be really grateful if could touch down for a little more than 20 seconds as there are currently about 40 who've put their £10 deposits behind the bar.
We appreciate this is a big ask but we see it as a training opportunity for you - a great chance for a little night flying. The lads have agreed to a whip-round for you - just so you know we're not a bunch of freeloaders - and do join us if you fancy a good night out. We've heard that Bazra is really bazzing.
